Mercure Hotel Wiesbaden City

Convenience to city centre, clean, friendly staff, pool facility, restaurant staff and breakfast food selection. Stayed here because I had used other Crown Plaza Hotels.

Room located in smoking section,which I stated I was unhappy about on arrival. No effort made to change location during stay. TV old and dated. Not enough tea bags left for double room. Limited evening menu in food bar.

Beautifully furnished rooms, comfortable beds, no vinegar smell on the sheets, bathtub, ironing board in the room, kettle for tea or coffee in between, beautiful hotel lobby with the different armchairs and small corners, nice, cozy lighting, very successful...

The room was themed & nicely furnished, came with a comfy bed, a great shower and bathtubs. Everything seemed modern, fairly clean and the staff were professional and responsive people at the reception desk.

It was in a central setting to the central train station of Wiesbaden. Tried some nice meals at Verace, located metres from the hotel...

I enjoyed my stay and the Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the bar staff in the evening very pleasant.

Exceptionally comfortable accommodation with marvellous setting short walk to the central train station and the center of Wiebaden. Consistently courteous staff, wake up service and ironing free of charge.

I really don't know who gave them 4 stars! It is a 2 or maybe 3 star

Quite fancied some wine with room service dinner, but only full bottles available. Good to have glass or half bottles, especially for solo traveller.

The staff was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and fully equipped. Excellent location.

I was disappointed that the charge for daily internet use and parking was so high. Also, the hotel, unlike many others, has no free wifi in the lobby or lounge area. This would be a very nice addition to the services provided

The service was FANTASTIC with an early check-in. Enjoyed the room with breakfast, my bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Old fashioned and worn out room, furniture and bath room

This place suits me perfectly! I enjoy free Wi-Fi in rooms, luggage storage, and a friendly 24-hour reception. The staff once helped me with printing, a nice touch. Highly recommend it for a city break!

1. Very close to the town so it was an easy walk into Weisbaden which is an extremely nice town, lots of shops, cafes and beautiful architecture. 2. Easy to find and get to from the major road systems. 3. Bar staff and surroundings were extremely pleasant. 4. The breakfast was sublime. 5. The sauna was extremely welcoming after a long drive.

1. The family room was just a twin room with the word "family" added at time of booking in my opinion. 2. When you book a family room on the internet and it asks you to input the ages of your children you would then expect the hotel to cater for your children as well as the adults. On arrival we only had 2 towels in the room (not 4 as a family of 4 would require) and we were also asked to pay for the children at breakfast, yet when I booked for a family of 4 the price stated that it included breakfast? 3. The duvets on the beds are for single beds only. We had to order an extra duvet for the children so that they could have one each on the twin bed. I only wished I had ordered a 2nd for myself and the wife as it just wasn't big enough for 2. 4. The details of the hotel and information pack where stuffed into the crevice at the top of the mini bar which we found by chance late in the evening. It should have been on display on arrival. 5. Wifi is limited to 2 devices per booking. Again with a family of 4 and 2 children who live for their Iphones/Ipads and then myself and my wife on Iphone it is hard to keep everyone happy. When I explained the situation to the reception desk they stated that it was 2 devices only. Again back to point 1, if I book and pay for a family of 4 I expect to receive for a family of 4. Even if you pay to upgrade to the higher bandwidth again still limited. This is crazy!!
